Orchard Training Homeschool Garden Club - February

We've kicked off the February term with a bit of spring sunshine! This has allowed us to gather and sow in modules the lettuce, chard, spinach, beetroot, cauliflower, carrots, tomatoes, and chillies we intend to cultivate this year.

We then took a thoughtful stroll around the garden, identifying the tasks that needed to be done and who wanted to tackle them. We examined the rhubarb, which unfortunately wasn't large enough to cook with yet. Deciding who would apply the well-rotted manure to the rhubarb bed was settled with a game of "rock-paper-scissors."
