Friday Reflections

We have reached the spring half term, marking the midpoint of our homeschool academic year. However, you are not allowed to ask when the summer holidays start until July!

Due to the inclement weather, we've been diligently working inside. As the rain, wind, and overcast days have persisted, the number of questions we've tackled has steadily increased. Together, we've completed over 100,000 questions in 900 hours of homeschooling, and that's just for math and English, and that is excluding all other subjects. Great job, everyone!

This afternoon, I'll review the leaderboard for the top 3 learners. It appears that two sisters and a new young man hold the first, second, and third positions for the most correct answers this half term.

This week, we've been affected by a widespread virus. If you've been sick with it—and you'll definitely know if you have—don't worry, as I'll be available during half term to help anyone catch up on missed work. However, I won't be assigning any homework over the break, so make sure to take a well-deserved mental rest—relax, unwind, and enjoy some lovely spring walks in the sunshine and snowdrop viewing.
